You guys are awesome. Thanks for the support. Man, I feel pressure to carve out some posting time now!

I know many of you can relate. While it's natural to lose one's parents it doesn't make it any easier. Mom was a gift to the world and I think of her every day.

Dad's a tough old bird. Solo auto accident at age 85, all airbags deployed. Flailed chest with 12 ribs broken in multiple places, collapsed lung and a laundry list of lesser injuries. He was in the ICU on respirator and chest tubes for almost 2 weeks. I got to know the staff pretty well... It was a long road, but his recovery has been miraculous. The docs say his career as a singer saved his life. His mind is as sharp as ever. We just moved him to a rehab facility to help mend his broken leg. He's already flirting with the nurses.
