Wedding Ring Stress - please help!

Ever since I got engaged back in Feb 07 I ''knew'' what I wanted in wedding band - a seven stone shared prong equalling around 1 ct. My E Ring is just over a carat RB in a solitaire setting. We have a fab small independant jeweller who made my Ering and is sorting out my wedding band. I went to see him on Saturday armed with photographs of what I want and saw in his shop something completely different where the (smaller) diamonds sit in the band which looks more like a wedding ring. My FI likes this look much better and I am now so torn. My biggest worry with the seven stone is how much it would overwhelm my solitaire. Anyone have any views/photographs to help me with the process? My wedding is in just under 12 weeks and I haven''t slept this weekend for stressing over it. Pathetic I know with everything going on in the world

Are you talking about flush-set stones when you say "the (smaller) diamonds sit in the band which looks more like a wedding ring"?
