Hi everyone, I can''t believe it but it''s time to think about the wedding (and wedding ring shopping - yay!). I''m super happy with my e-ring - a round diamond with a princess channel setting. However, rather than go matchy with a channel set princess eternity, I was thinking about my other options. I realized that I like round stones in terms of fire and sparkle over princess stones, so what could I do with my eternity that would involve round stones but not look out of place? I tried on some shared prong rounds at Signed Pieces but they just looked...off. I was thinking a four prong eternity with rounds stones like Mara''s might be good because the four prongs would give more the illusion that the stones are square, which may match a bit better. It''s hard to find those around though so I haven''t been able to try any on yet. Thoughts? I''ve attached some pictures of my ring to refresh (and more shameless posting of ring pics for me). Thanks!

Any ideas? Thanks.

well...

what I can tell you is that your ring is pretty much what I''d dreamed of for the past 15 years other than I leaned toward an oval. I was married with a plain gold band (which I loved then and now) and got a channel set band as an anniversary gift at 2 years... and dreamed of the day when I could have a ring like yours sandwiched between them. I always wanted the look of wedding/engagement/anniversary... an engagement ring with solitaire and side stones... a solid wedding ring and a diamond band...

SO.... if *I* were going to make a suggestion, that would be it. Kinda matchy but not totally matchy since the two bands would be different in that one had diamonds and one didn''t. I love the look of my two bands together. But I decided to go a totally different direction and will wear my bands apart from the solitaire ''m getting... though since being here I''ve had a major resurgance of sentimentality over my plain gold band, so maybe some day I''ll get a smaller stone in a channel setting like yours to fulfill the dream and wear my newest ring on my right hand, where really it should be lol

Gorgeous ring...
If it were me, I would pick what you said that you don''t want...a channel set band of princess diamonds, LOL!

Haha..the grass is always "sparklier" on the other side. I''ve been wondering if I should have gone the solitaire engagement path with a shared prong eternity, while those in that position wonder about engagement rings with sidestones...that''s funny. I do appreciate your opinions. Maybe I just need to drag myself to a store and try a number of bands on sometime soon.

What a gorgeous e-ring you have!!! Of course you should try different bands with it before you make the final decision, but just looking at the ring, it''s screaming "princess channel or shared prong" to me. Sorry....

hey, I can get on my plain gold band soapbox and say - what would look best with it is a plain gold band!!!!!!!! One all understated and simple and eternally meaningful and symbolic - the other all blinged out and gorgeous and sparkly!!!

Gorgeous ring! I have to say though.. as a matchy-type person, your ring was made to go with a princess channel wedding band. And I would even say that a wedding band of rounds might even...clash?
