Wedding ring giddy!!

Eeeeeek, so, I just saw the realistic CAD images from Mark Morrell of what is very likely to be my wedding ring, and I''m goofy giddy right now! FI got my e-ring from him (the original sunburst), so we emailed him asking about our ideas for the wedding band. It turns out he''s been working on one almost perfectly matching my description, so he went ahead and put it beside a sunburst of about the same size as mine in his CAD program and sent me a bunch of pics. I LOVE it!!

Now, here is where I hope you don''t get mad at me. Since we haven''t officially ordered it, and he may very well have made the design for someone else, I''m going to hold off on posting the pics. I just feel weird sharing his work without having his permission or any kind of real ownership first. I''m sorry! Don''t hate me!

I WILL, however, most definitely post pics once it''s ordered, and, more importantly, hand shots once it gets here!

Thanks so much for your enthusiasm, ladies! Mark got back to us with a quote, and we've decided is a GO! I'm so excited!! In the same email that he gave the quote, Mark also listed some details on the diamonds for me. There are 13 of them, with an expected total weight of 0.115-0.12 carats. In other words, ~0.009/diamond, or just under 1 pointers. Why does that matter?? Because our wedding is 9/13. My ring is going to have our wedding date built right in. Crazy coincidence, no?

wow, that''s the wedding ring that my jeweler wants to make me. I wanted to have without pave setting between each diamond and he said it''s much nicer with, but now at least I can see what he means and it is indeed beautiful!

wow, it looks so great with your ring. I love the 6 prong setting on your e-ring by the way! i've been hinting to FI for some 6-prong studs as a wedding present...he's choosing to ignore me. hahaha
