Hi everyone,
So I am in the process of getting a ring designed by Green Lake Works and I don't think the look I want can have a flush sitting band (not really a big deal to me). So they have adjusted the CAD to make it so that it can sit pretty close but it appears that the band will rub on basket of the setting. It will be in 18k unplated white gold. Is this a big deal?
Thanks in advance.
Susan

It won't matter if the band touches the doughnut (base) below the basket, but you definitely don't want it rubbing against the basket or prongs. The basket needs to have a base so that the wedding band doesn't hit the basket. The rings need to be designed to work together.
I don't care about flush either, because I think a little gap looks better.
