Still searching for the elusive band to pair with my sleek line solitaire. Whiteflash was kind enough to send me some photos of various bands paired with the legato. One really struck my fancy... it is the legato shared prong wedding band. Ten stones, .31cttw, so 3 pts each, and it is 2 mm wide. Not sure about the height but I would estimate ~2mm.

What do you think? Is the height difference too pronounced?

Option 2: Paired with a seven stone band, I believe this is .50cttw, so 7 pointers. This band is around 2.7mm wide and probably equally thick. Just imagine a diamond in the setting

Option 3: This is with the matching sleekline pave band, so it is the same width and thickness as the legato sleekline solitaire. This is a bead set 3/4 eternity band, same thickness, similar to the tiffany legacy in style but without milgrain. I like this one a lot too I think!!

Option 4: This is the halo wedding band. Also beadset pave but without the channel that the sleekline pave band has. This band is 2mm wide and 1.5mm thick, so the same profile as the sleekline (pictured band is a larger size than the solitaire). FYI this is my old solitaire!

Option 4: This is the harmony wedding band, fishtail pave. It is also 2mm wide but it is also 2mm thick, so a little thicker than the sleekline.

I vote for option 3. I have a Memoire shared prong band of 10 pointers, but I really love the subtle sparkle of the Legacy band so much more. I think the beadset band would look really good with the Legato Sleek Line setting.

I like the first one. I know the gap is a little bigger (at least looking in the picture) but I think the more slender band goes better with the sleek lines of the the setting,

They are all beautiful, but I like #3 the best.

This is my favorite.. gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course it is! It''s the largerst carat weight! LOL! But it is a lot thicker than my solitaire. Not sure how much that would bother me...

I like option #1 and option #2. I think those will give the sparkle you want as opposed to shimmer (if that makes sense?). I love shared prong bands, my only concern would be the shared prong eating your e-ring setting's prongs!

ETA: I also love option #3!

Dreamer,
do you think its possible to see the matching sleekline pave band next to the solitaire w/out
pave?
I would also be interested in these pics, for obvious reasons

I''ll ask, but they just happened to have these photos! Chris said that they didn''t have the band on hand at the moment unfortunately, or I would have had them take pics with my actual ring

. But I think it would look a lot like Diamondseeker''s set in her avatar, but with a polished edge rather than milgrain.

One thing to consider is that this is not my forever setting.. my nexy upgrade I will probably switch to a setting that is thicker in the shank so that it is compatible with more bands... so would a matching band then be a "waste"? Probably not, but I do think the 10-stone band would be more versatile long term. It is between those two in my mind -- shared prong 10 stone and the pave legato.

Not my forever setting, so I am not too concerned... but duely noted

I'm still considering a channel set band with 2 pointers!

I love number 1!

I like #1 the most, followed closely by #3!

I vote #3. Can''t wait to see what you decide.

Me too!!!

Here is my order of like...
2,1 - cant decide between these two, think I like the bigger one better
3 - this is pretty too!
5
4 (dont like this one at all)

I like #1, although #2 is Fantastic, I think it may take away from your solitaire size?

#3

I think it is great that WF sent you comparison photos. I would have found it really helpful if they had done this in the past so I am very pleased they are doing it now! Great job WF.

100% agree with D&T.
i like #1 best, because I prefer the delicate looking pairing. I LOVE #2 for the bling, but wonder if the pointer size would take away from the main attraction - your new upgrade!!!

Loving all the options though!

1 is by far my favourite. I think they look fab together.

This is a Whiteflash possibility also. I think it''s Lynn''s first wedding band. (I hope you don''t mind Lynn!) I''d like to have two of these made for myself in five pointers, and of course I love that it doesn''t have prongs on the ends.
I really like the way it was finished.

I''m very torn between options #2 and #4. They are completely different looks, but I think they both would be excellent choices. I don''t think everything needs to match perfectly, but these two options seem to flow seamlessly with the ering.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I like them all but think #3 is my favorite.... Are you doing two bands???

Woooo

I think they are all beautiful, I wouldn''t object to ANY OF THEM... droool... but #3 sings to me.

Option #3 is my favorite.

I like #1 and #3.

Hi Dreamer, as you know the 3 pt eternity band WF made for me is very similar to your option #1 - just full eternity instead of partial. Here is the photo they sent me when I had that one made.
