Ok... who has recommendations on this?

- Woman''s plat wedding band
- Channel set diamonds (not all the way around)
- Euro shank

OR... the same as above but with 5 stone shared prong band, euro shank?

The idea is that, for Future Mrs.VH, a full eternity band seems dangerous (klutzy) and a bit of a money-pit. However, if the diamonds aren''t going all the way around, then maybe a euro shank would help keep it centered.

The e-ring isn''t a euro shank b/c well... the diamond helps keep it upright.

Thanks for any suggestions!

shared prong. shared prong. shared prong.

Thanks... I want details?! and Pics!

Talk about diamond separation anxiety. I give away the rock and I'm already planning the next one! Maybe I should talk to the FW first?

Shared prong are the best!!! I'm planning on getting one to go with my princess--5 stones at around .25 ct each. The actual size of the stones will just depend on how far they reach around my finger (I hate when stones don't go all the way). The diameter of my finger (size 4.5) is 15.27 so I think the 1/4 ct for each stone should work, but I've got to work with WF to make sure. Nice tangent, huh? Anyway, go with shared prong! Oh, and what's a Euro shank? Are those the ones that are flat on the bottom?

yes, i believe a euroshank is flat on the bottom, kindof looks squared off. this prevents the ring from twirling on your finger

hmmmm...you got a jub i realize....I'm not a huge fan of mixing shapes so I wouldn't do a shared prong in that case b/c it would "show off" the rounds, I'd do the channel...In fact, there is a picture on this board...it looks great...

are you talking shared prong rounds, princesses, or another shape? MMM is right that it would really change the look of the jubilee. What size stones are you considering?

shared prong, princess...

channel, i think you might be able to get away with either...

i don't think there will be enough smaller jubilees around by this time next year for a Jubilee ring.

i think the FW might want something less flashy though.

My friend is considering getting a band made up of baguettes. It's actually very beautiful (I hadn't initially thought it would be that great). Also, pave bands look really nice
