I posted this in another forum but didn''t get any responses, I thought maybe I would try here for some help!

My e-ring is the ritani endless love ring - and although I LOVE the matching eternity wedding band....I am trying to find alternatives to see if we can save a little $$$.

My fiance said that I can find a ring that will compliment the endless love ring - that he would buy me the matching ritani endless love for an anniversary eventually.

He personally wants to buy me the matching ring, however - we are really trying to budget our money accordingly - and I feel guilty that it costs so much. He just recently took a part time second job - and if I can find something that is less expensive (but still looks nice) - I will be happy.....and I will be even more happy that I could put some of that money toward something else (i.e our honeymoon).

Any advice would be helpful!

p.s My e-ring is platinum. If we were to get the matching ritani eternity wedding band....my fiance wants to get platinum - ................but the white gold is much less $$. The jeweler insisted that he should not do that - however does it really make that much of a difference? Just wondering......

Thanks in advance!

If you can't afford the real thing, I would get the cheapest possible white gold band for under $200 to use as a temporary band and wait until you can afford the real thing in platinum.

Nothing is going to match quite as well as the real thing and I definitely wouldn't go with white gold instead because the platinum on your e-ring will slowly eat it away.

TOTALLY agreed. I have tried on literally a hundred other bands that look similar, but NO diamond band looks right with it except for the matching ritani bands. A 2mm plain plat. band looks best if you can''t get the real thing.

But one word of caution, make sure that the band you choose is the same height as the ritani ring or else it looks really odd together.

If, at all possible, I would suggest you get the matching band. Nothing else is going to look and feel as perfect with your ering. Good luck on your decision
