Do you like to wear your rings so tight that they wont come off or loose so they come off when you hands are wet or cold...i like mine slightly loose so they are perfect if my hands swell abit. I hate my watches worn loose and I like my bracelets so they just hit the top of the hand...what says you about your jewelry?

I like my watches loose, but not so much they move up and down my wrist. I do wear my tennis bracelet loose.
Rings are tough because I have large knuckles, so all my rings are very loose. My new ring is very loose and I think I
will wait til summer to see if my fingers swell from the heat.

In between, but, honestly, I have magic fluctuating hands: i can easily go from below a 5 to almost a six in the course of a day depending on weather changes, etc. So I wear a 5 1/2 and call it even .... If we were going on preference, I''d say loose, but if I wore my rings big enough to be loose when my fingers were at their fattest, they''d fall right off when the weather dropped ten degrees.

Ditto to this - mine fluctuate too from a 7 to 7.5-7.75 - i get a 7.5 to be safe on significant jewelry, figuring there will be a couple days it''s too loose and a couple days it''s too tight. The rest, i am hoping my rings will fit :)

My rings are loose when I'm cold/wet, but not enough to slide off. They're never uncomfortably tight due to swelling in heat/altitude, but they're definitely more or less difficult to remove depending on swelling.

I like my watches loose enough to slide a bit but not turn around. It's a fine line. Bracelets loose enough to slide and turn freely.

My fingers don't fluctuate so much, but they're almost always sized incorrectly (by jewelers). When we were engagement ring shopping, I was always sized as 6.25-6.5 (with one outlier 6). We ordered my e-ring in a 6.25 and it ended up feeling big enough to be unsafe, so we sized it down to a 6. It still felt loose enough for me to question whether they'd actually sized it

it's comfortable (not at all tight) when it's hot out, though. I finally bought my own set of sizing bands that are thin (2mm-ish) and they put me at 5.5, and I now have a plain 3mm band that's a 5.5 that fits nicely, so I think the inaccurate measurements were just to do with the fact that their sizing bands are thick (seemed like 4-5mm) where my e-ring is just under 2mm.

I like my rings tight! My e-ring still feels a little loose and spins a bit when my hands are cold, but there's no way it's coming off--even in cold, cold water--unless I take it off. It gets rather tight in 100-degree weather, but it doesn't bother me at all. I actually prefer it to be snug!

I don't like anything on my wrists to be tight, but I won't wear a bangle that feels like it's going to fall off all the time.

I don't like my earrings to be too tight either, or I end up with a lot of irritation.

ETA: Musey, every jeweler I visited sized me incorrectly. Most told me I needed a 3 or even a 3.5, and my e-ring ended up getting sized down twice (now 2.5) before I felt comfortable with it and before the darn thing stopped spinning all the time.

Loose so they spin but not so loose that they fall off.

I like them snug but not tight. Trouble is my yo-yo diet hands.

They''ll go from a 4 to a 4 1/2 depending on the time of year. So I try to meet the lil buggers half way. Stinks too. I hate the finger cupcakes that form around my ring when it is too tight... but hate it when they slide all over the place while typing.

My new ring is too loose right now. When I''m cold its really loose. I need to get it resized but I haven''t gotten around to it yet. I''d prefer it more snug than not. This way there is no chance of it slipping off. I just got engaged and already have heard a bunch of horror stories!

Finger Cupcakes! perfectly put.

Loose. In fact, in the winter my e-ring comes off if i shake my hand. So now, I always wear it with 2 bands. That seems to help alot. My other rings are also a little loose, but since they're wide and I always wear two at a time, they're safe.

edited to add: I was sized at 6.75 and wear my rings at 7.5 to give you an idea of how loose I like them.

Loose for me too! Not so loose they can fall off, but spinning does occur when I''m cold or wet.

Loose, but more out of necessity than desire if that makes sense. My finger size is 5.25, but I wear a size 5.5 because my chunky knuckle gets a bit claustrophobic thinking about the possibility of the ring getting stuck on warmer (and bloated) days

My ring spins pretty much all the time, but never falls off (again ''cause of the chunky knuckle). If I could get past the feeling of my e-ring grazing my knuckle I would definitely have gone with a smaller size. The ring I wear on my right hand is snug, not tight enough to form "finger cupcakes," but that baby doesn''t move (just the way I like it).

I typically like my rings loose. My ering is about a 1/2 size too big and can easily slide off in the winter, but it is also pretty heavy so I am constantly aware of it. I decided to go that big because it''s an eternity band too and can''t be resized. If I am running around or wearing gloves I will use another band to protect it just in case, but I haven''t had any problems of it sliding off my finger by accident (knock on wood!). It isn''t *as* loose in the summer but my hands don''t swell that much really.

I don''t wear a watch, but if I did it would also be loose. I just like the way it looks better.

loose. but not fall off loose.

Slightly loose rings because I hate tight rings on my fingers! My watch is kept loose but not where it can fall off my wrist.

For rings, definitely tight enough that they won''t fly off even if my hands are cold - I am way too careless and active to have them any other way

Watches I like a little looser, don''t really have many bracelets, so hard to comment on that one...

in between

Slightly loose. My ring finger is a 7 1/4, but when I''m cold I can get my mothers rings on which are size 6!! When my fingers swell it''s probably 7 1/2..

I hate spinning and I love cupcakes

My fingers are between 6.5-7.5 depending on the weather. I prefer them slightly loose, some movement, but not spinning. More than spinning, I hate muffin top fingers.

I don''t wear a watch and bracelets I prefer to only be able to move about an inch up my arm. I have a 7 inch bracelet that slides half-way to my elbow and that''s too far.

Right now the rings that I wear are too big for me...so at the current moment, loose. But I''d prefer them to be tight (once I get an engagement ring and wedding band anyway) because I''ve had my rings slide right off my finger before. Once I was putting some clothes away in my drawer and while pushing the drawer back in, it unknowingly took my ring off. I couldn''t find it anywhere I thought I had lost it for good. I finally found it in the drawer while not looking for it.

My ring finger is a 5.5 according to my SA. A 6 fits but it''s a little loose. Not by too much though. But my problem is that my hands are ALWAYS cold so my SA tells me a 5.5 would work best on my ring finger.....
