I saw this for the first time today, and thought I''d pass the link along to those who are interested!

We Are The World 25

you can download an album on itunes that has the song and the video...for any interested as well.

I didn''t like some of the modifications and embellishments, but Mike still gave me chills. I miss him, and still think his death (and much of his life) was so tragic!

Yes--not a fan of the "remake"...lacked creativity, and the part that was new was pretty annoying (at the end).

But so happy to see they didn''t touch the MJ part, and it did really make me miss him

Ditto on all accounts. It was nice to see some great singers on there, but I could have done without the rapping.

Don''t want to watch it because I really liked the first one. Brings back good memories.

I agree. I am so glad they didn''t touch the MJ parts as well. I didn''t like the last part of it. But what do I know, LOL!!

I loved the original but I like this one too!

Did anyone else watch the video and think that they looked bored while singing? It kind of bugged me actually. You''re doing something to raise money for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti -- look like you''re happy to help.

I thought I was imagining things!

No, you weren''t imagining things. My husband and I both commented on it when we first saw it during the Olympics.

I had no idea who many of the singers/rappers were, either. I also thought it was interesting to see some of the young people who were participating. Some of them hadn''t been born yet, I''m sure, when the original one was done.

I can''t say I hated it, but it was definitely was different. The one thing I was disappointed about was that Celine Dion ended up taking Cyndi Lauper''s part. I love Cyndi''s part in the original version!

My favorite tribute song is one that I don''t think many people remember. It didn''t get as much press coverage as We Are the World, but it''s called Voices that Care. It was for the troops during Desert Storm.
