As you can see, these are the exact same settings for the shape/width/heights. The prongs are the same. The difference comes into the micro pave vs plain.
The stone will be a 1 carat H&A.

I thought that solitaire would be the most classic/simpler/elegant, but now I am in a kind of doubt, since I look at that same model micropave and it also looks very good!

Thank you

Fred

I love both of them! Do you know what your gf wants? One good thing about solitaire is that you can pair it with many wedding bands. The one with side stones is gorgeous and very pretty and adds extra sparkle!

I prefer the plain shank.

I prefer the simple solitaire w/out the melee also. It would be much more versatile in terms of wedding band options.

One more vote for the simple solitaire. I like the versatility that a plain shank gives.

I agree with the others. I prefer the plain engagement ring so that I can use a diamond wedding band and am not restricted to just the matching band that goes with the e-ring.

I prefer the first setting too. ;))

I like the first setting.

Hands down I vote for the simple solitaire. With a 1 carat stone it will showcase it in this setting!

Yet another vote for the plain solitaire!

I also like the plain solitaire too! All the attention will be on the center stone, and when the time comes to pick wedding rings, you can be more adventurous!

For solitaires, I like plain shanks. Really showcases the center stone. So first one for me.

Another vote for the plain solitaire!
