Wanna see some Newfoundland puppy pics?

My inlaw's nine year old Newfoundland passed away a couple months ago and they just got a new puppy last weekend. DH and I drove up to their farm to meet him. He's a landseer Newfoundland (this is the first one they've had that isn't all black) and he's eight weeks old. His name is Mojo and he makes my heart smile. Thought I'd share.

DH let the puppy climb all over him. The control freak in me refrained from telling him this is horrible for dominance training.

Unfortunately, puppy decided that he was done with the excitement and took a nap for most of the time we were there. Oh well. Sleeping puppies are just as cute sometimes...




I think I was looking at DH and telling him I thought we should get one too. I don't think our cat would be pleased.

What a cutie-pie, fuzzy little sweetie! He looks like a cuddler. I've never seen a Newfie with white paws. My old neighbors had two, and they were very much all black. I like the white paws--they are adorable!

I've never seen a newfie that was black and white. I'm assuming that's what makes them a "landseer," right? Mojo is ADORABLE! He's going to be HUGE if he's that big at 8 weeks old, huh? SO CUTE.
