Can't decide between these two, any help is appreciated.

1.01 vs2 H faint fluorescent, serial # inscribed on stone.

1.01 Si1 G no fluorescents,

both same cut, GIA cert and $100 difference

Need a lot more info than that. What shape is it? Can you post the table % / depth % / crown angle / pavillion angle? Can you get an idealscope image?

Very poorly cut. I would not purchase this one.

Hi Shaneku5,

Try to aim for Pavilion angles of between 40.6 - 41 and crown angles generally between 34-35 for a safe bet.
Also be sure to use the HCA grading tool available to determine whether it is worth consideration. These stones scored a 6 indicating poor light performance.

There are lots of resources under the resource section here that explain diamond anatomy and help with understanding of why these proportions are important. Which vender were you looking to purchase from?
