I've recently become intrigued with Marquise cut diamonds. I currently only own round cut diamonds- so the "change of scenery" is appealing to me!
I purchased a vintage platinum ring with bonus ring guard . It is an approx. 1.3 carat diamond- described as F/G VS1 or better. It is incredibly white and sparkly, and I was really surprised how nice it is. As with the case with vintage diamonds- I wasn't looking for perfection in the cut.
The prices for vintage marquise rings seemed very expensive to me - so I was happy to find this ring at a good price.
It is very difficult for me to capture the diamond in pictures- they don't really do it justice.
