So, I have found a diamond from Ritani that I'm interested in. Seems to meet all my criteria and price. I have seen pictures(20x,50x) videos, sparkle videos, and etc. I am having the stone now sent to a local jewelery store for a in store preview before I buy. Does anyone have any advise on what I should look for or questions I should ask?
If I decide to buy it, should I get it authenticated by an independent appraiser ?
Also, as far as insurance, should I get the loose stone appraised and insured right away. Or should I wait until the stone is set in its pave halo setting which will take 4-6 weeks to get.
