Victorian Silver padlock locket on collar

I have had this locket from around 1890 for 4 years. I am wearing it for the first time today by putting together two anklets from India to make a necklace! The glass locket compartment is stuck but the padlock opens!

Thanks! I know about the hair thing and there might actually be hair in there but it is hard to tell. I think it was glued shut! Here are my inspiration pics. The chain is called a "book chain."
