Verragio settings

My wife and I purchased a Verragio setting (eng 0152) and will be putting a center stone from GOG in the E-ring. With the exception of the center stone, the rest of the stones that come with the setting are "tension set". We have heard pros and cons about the "tension set". Has anyone heard anything about stones falling out or the general reputation of stones becoming dislodged? Verragio requires center stones be set by them or the warranty is void which makes me think that the cehter stone, which is a prong set, might be tricky to set. Your thoughts. Thanks Scottys

Welcome to PS and congrats on the new ring! One of our members here was supposed to pick up her new Verragio ring today!

Many designers have the diamonds sent to them to set. So this is not unusual at all. They do it all the time and I think it is the best way to get the stone set in the ring optimally.

ditto. Definitely let Verragio set the stone.
