Vendor suggestion? Fall in love with Gregg Ruth''s engagement ring but can''t afford it

Hi, my BF just gave me a 1.72ct radiant cut fancy yellow diamond and now we are shopping for its setting. I really like Gregg Ruth''s engagement ring''s style but can''t afford it. Can anyone suggest who can make something similar to it? WF or JA? What I really like is the yellow diamonds set in yellow gold paved around the center diamond. It is so beautiful.

Maytal Hoftman makes rings like this and formerly worked for Beaudry who makes very similar (very expensive rings). You can do a search on here and see a few more that she has recently made. But from all I have seen, she does an excellent job.

I do have a suggestion for you. I contacted a woman named Maytal, whose name I got from these boards. She is wonderful-very responsive, and she is a jewelry designer who used to work for Michael Beaudry among others. Beaudry does alot of design work with yellow diamonds, and in similar styles to the ring you posted. You can reach her at maytaljewelsatgmail.com.

I am thinking about using her to design a ring for myself, just not sure when. But she has gotten good reviews, and her prices are way below the designers since she's on her own-she is in LA. Send her an email! Good luck-

I'm one of the people who've had a ring done by Maytal. She does some very intricate looking designs. I was very happy with the setting she did for me. Definitely e-mail her.

I also liked a Gregg Ruth mounting. It was quite expensive.
