Vegas GTG - Anyone up for a Fri night dinner and/or a show?

Just wondered if anyone was going to be in town on Friday and if we could plan dinner and/or a show? The boyfriend and I (who I will not be subjecting to Saturday's festivities, BTW!) were thinking maybe Circ's "O", which I've seen before and am happy to see again. I'm willing to coordinate any plans!

LOL Skippy, I would never bring a "normal" person to a PS fest! I'm going to set him loose at a blackjack table and let him entertain himself for the evening.

My plane arrives at 4PM so I will have plenty of time to get to the hotel and get changed for a show and dinner. Sounds like a good plan to me! Of course if you don't mind hanging with a 50+ year old

Bright, oh good! And I hope you don't mind hanging out with a crazy-year-old! (I find age is irrelevant, but I'm 41 for reference. )

Any dinner preference? And are you good with "O" or is there a different show you would rather see?

I don't have a dinner preference and I would love to see "O". I can't wait! Florida next weekend for 4 days of beach and Vegas the following weekend. I am SO ready for some relaxation time.

Bright and Miracles, do you have any other PSer's emails? Maybe through the daisy chain of communication we can get in touch with each other directly. Otherwise, we can arrange a time and place to meet once we get things set up.

i wonder if the show will be sold out already. there are alot of people in town that weekend, so we may not get lucky. There is always dinner. I can get my contact info to you through Skippy.

I just did a quick search for four tickets for both the 7:30 and 10:00 pm shows and had no trouble getting results back, but I agree we should act quickly. What if I wait until Monday night to book it to see if anyone else is in? I am happy to buy all the tickets and just have people pay me back. Which show time does everyone prefer? Not sure what time zone people will be coming from so just trying to be conscientious that the 10 pm show may be pretty late for some people.

I am in. I would prefer the 7:30 show because I have a class to attend at 8:00 am Saturday morning. Category B or C tickets are fine by me.

So I'm not best friends with the box office people... We have a couple of choices:

Section 102 G, seats 11-14 for $170 + fees (very good seats, but obviously most expensive)

Section 101 F, seats 1-4 for $143 + fees (not sure about the view though because it's way off to the side)

Section 304 EE, seats 24-27 for $119 + fees (last row of hightest balcony)

Let me know what you guys want to do. My inclination is to go with the more expensive seats but I don't want to go spending other people's money without their permission! If I don't hear from you guys within the next few hours I will book the good seats but just have you pay me back for a less expensive option since I am volunteering your $$$ away!

Alrighty -- we are BOOKED!

I went with the best option, but again Bright and Miracles, because I did that without your permission just reimburse me for the tier two price. When I called back the second tier choice was already sold and they confirmed the third tier choice really wasn't good viewing, so there we have it.

And I meant to say that I am NOW, not NOT best friends with the box office people at this point, LOL. I apologized profusely for talking to the poor customer service people for so long, but they said at least I was fun so they didn't mind.

I'm just kidding. Thank you so much for doing all the work! That's awesome! I am getting all psyched. I just ate the evil tortilla chips and salsa, so I have to go Zumba. Please let's eat anywhere except Mexican food. I just can't control myself when it comes to Mexican food. Although there is an amazing Mexican restaurant at the MGM. :::::swoon:::::::
