Hi all,

Based in Austrslia and I've been reading this forum for a couple of weeks. Think I've decided on the Vatche u-113 setting. Can anyone advise the best website to get this setting with a diamond? I'd prefer to get the setting and diamond from the same place. I've got about $8,000 to spend on the diamond but will start that search once I've decided who to buy from.

My diamond and Vatche U-113 setting came from Good Old Gold, and I do recommend them highly. If they don't have a diamond that meets your requirements on the site, they can call in a couple for you. The good thing is that they can take pictures and videos so you can see the diamonds before deciding.

And just for completeness I think ID Jewelry also carries Vatche, as does Whiteflash. Maybe some other vendors too if you look at he vatche website and look for vendors.
 
I just ordered this setting today from IDJ. I also purchased my diamond from them. Yekutiel is great. I found my dream diamond from a different vendor and sent him the link. He was able to obtain the diamond and send me a video, ASET, idealscope images and answer all of my questions over the phone. He also gave me a very nice price.
 
Thanks for all ther help. As mentioned I'd like to get the diamond from the same place. Any views on this from id jewellery? Seems to be a good size for the price and weight.

GOG looks great but can only wire money for an international purchase with them. Thats fair enough but not sure how comfortable I am wiring that amount of money, I feel I'd have a bit more protection with a credit card purchase.
 
I think ID has much better prices. So they would be my first call personally. Plus Yekutiel has found some surprising beauties. Make sure to identify yourself as a pricescoper.
 
Whiteflash.com also sells the Vatcthe U-113. You have at least 3 options on PS...
 
last I checked ID was $60 higher than GOG. Any of them may price match though..
 
Thanks all. I'll be going with whoever has the best selection of diamonds. Looking at trying to keep the diamond under 7k. The diamond I posted earlier seemed a decent price as it hits the 4.5mm mark but no idea what I'm looking for when looking at the certificate.
 
Any of the vendors mentioned has a wide selection of diamonds. You really cannot go wrong with whomever you choose. Check out their websites and maybe call or email and see if you just hit it off with one over another.
