Vatche Swan vs. Vatche U113

Good morning. I used this wonderful site 4 years ago and hoping you can help me once again. I want to swap out my old setting for a Vatche. I an torn between the U 113 or the Swan solitare . The Swan is my favorite but I want to make sure my channel set band will set right next to it. Any thoughts or pictures of either the Vatche U113 or the Swan with a wedding band? Will the band bother the Swan setting? Thanks for your help..

Both the regular swan and the U-113 will require a shaped band if you want a flush fit. Ironically enough, the 3-stone Swan pave works great with a straight band.

If you don't mind a little gap, either of those solitaires would look beautiful.

Thanks for your reply. I do have a small gap with the solitaire setting I have now which I don’t mind. I just don’t want a big gap. I would love to see pictures if any one has them.

While this is a Vatche #291 (modified on the shoulders to have a V shape at the end of the line of diamonds), you can see the gap the donut creates.

For size reference, the shank of the 291 is about 1.9mm, with a 2.4mm eternity band. The diamond is a 1.27ct K-SI2.
