Vatche Full Pave setting

Hi...I''m interested in some opinions on the Vatche Full Pave setting with a princess stone.

1. Does anyone have any pictures of this setting on a hand with about size 5 fingers and about 1 ct or slightly less princess cut diamond?
2. Would this setting be comfortable? I''ve never worn Pave before and I''m not sure if the edges would be sharp or if the prongs would catch on this.
3. Will a wedding band sit flush with this? Is there a pave band that matches?
4. Is there anything similar out there that is better quality or value?

The ring I am getting is pave. It has pave on all three sides of the ring. It is a platinum ring, but you can barely see the platinum, it is really all diamonds (see avatar). The ring is 2.5mm in width and 2mm thick. The sensation of the ring on the your pinky and middle finger is like a "scratchy" feeling.

I have seen the Vatche pave in person; however, it wasn''t my cup of tea. They do, have a matching band and it does sit flush to the e-ring, I was just not a fan of the craftsmanship, but we are ALL different! The Vatche that I tried on had a 1ct rb in it. It was a good size, the pave e-ring band was thin (i''d say about 2mm) so it made the diamond pop.

There are some people on ps. that have gotten the Vatche full-pave and have been really happy with it. I''d suggest you find a dealer that has one in stock that you can see before you order.. I think niceice.com has a picture of the e-ring and band together so you can take a look.

There are so many designers that make pave..my favorite..by far, is Michael B.

I have tried on that vatche pave band. Although I liked it in pictures, I did not like it in person - it was to "scratchy" against my finger - if that makes any sense. I had tried on other pave, and it didn''t feel like the vatche.

I did like the width of the band. I didn''t like the ''basket'' that the diamond was set in. too low for my taste...

Anyway... just my 02!
