Vanity Fair Hit Piece

Yeah, Vanity Fair is not for everyone. I'm not surprised about the D & G mention--the designers are anti-gay and VF will take her to task over wearing their clothes. Say what you want about Michelle Obama, but she very intentionally wore a variety of designers, and especially those who were American or up-and-coming new designers. The Trumps are sadly waaaaaay behind, but people seem to like that. Whatevs.

So... why does it make Melania "waaaaaay behind" to wear clothing she likes? Of course, I have no way of knowing this, but I would imagine she picks clothing/designers based on their style and aesthetic rather than trying to make some political statement. That's it... no more, no less. And she always looks poised and very fashionable (as did Michelle Obama).

Melania probably picks the designers and clothes that fit her taste and syle like she did her whole life.

Why the need to change? She did not run for and win the office, her husband did.

Melania's style is to be more quiet and behind the scenes. I say stop the judgment, and comparison to Michelle, who was too much in your face on the various talk shows.
