Hello, to all the Van Cleef and Arpels lovers, which I am, although I will likely never purchase one of their fabulous jewels, if you are anywhere near New York City, there is an exhibit at the American Museum of Natural History called “Cosmic Splendor” which features Jewelry from the collections of Van Cleef and Arpels. Plan your visit at amnh.org. I grew up in Manhattan and we had a lifestyle magazine called Avenue which featured sumptuous jewels from all the heavy hitters, including VC&A. That was over 40 years ago and I still remember gazing in wonder at all the finery. If any of you go, I hope you enjoy the experience. I’m sure it will be magnificent.
