Diamond # 2:

I am looking for comments on value. To be set in a HOF Felicity ring.

Dont really know much about the Firemark brand but can give you some links to well-cut stones that you can compare with. You
didnt give us the cost so can really say much about that.

Here is a branded solasfera ...$7509

Edit - I also read that the Firemark brand is cut shallower (but still has excellent light return) so maybe it would be
better to compare size rather then carat weight.

Diamond # 1 (0.71) = 4724

Diamond # 2 (1.03) = 8700

Both are very over priced, but I don't know what a fire mark diamond is. I don't see a reason that would justify the increase. If there is one though, I would love to know! I am not savvy about 'designer' cut diamonds.

in looking at the certificates, do you have comment on either of these?

I can't read the grading reports. A lot noise came along with them. Can't see a thing.

I can barely read them. Have you seen these stones? The one is an SI1 so make sure it is eye-clean (or makes you happy).
You really cant tell much from reports on princess stones but didnt see anything out of line. You are paying a premium
for the branded name.

Do you have any images/aset/ideal scope of the stones?

Edit - if you are looking for a comment on value I would compare them with the branded solasfera. They appear to be
quite costly.

I'm trying to find a video with the solasfera in it so you can view and see if it compares with the Firemark. Give
me a few secs...

Here is the video that talks about the solasfera. The first part of the video talks about a few other "newer" cuts
but about 1/3 way through it starts on the solasfera.

Firemark has a website

Seems they market themselves with "double crown" facets, shallow cut with large face up for carat, and small tables (probably a result of the "double crown"). They say they are graded excellent in cut by GCAL.

heres the site for those interested:

Heres the info off the certs from what I can tell:

.71c - G VS1 - Table 65% - Depth 70.2% Excellent polish and symmetry thick girdle faint fluor

1.03c - D SI1 - Table 64% - Depth 69.7% Excellent polish and symmetry slightly thick to thick girdle med fluor

No point in looking at a princess from just numbers.

GCAL report with the brilliance analysis is more useful but that just checks for leakage.

I think that setting is lovely. Hard to comment on price, the solasfera princess might be a good comparison? they sure make it look nice on the video
