Has anyone bought from them? Any opinions? I found some great looking deals on there.

I have purchased from them. For US customers, they are what I call "informed" drop shippers, in that they know the business, but don't see the stones themselves. Thus, if you are going to buy through them, I would make sure to have the stone sent to a good appraiser who can help you evaluate it, since they are not looking at the stone live. I would also be as knowledgable as possible about what you are looking for and use Martin's expertise to help you sort through the options before you send one or more stones to an appraiser.

All that said, they were honest, prompt, knowledgable etc and good to work with.


edited to add: Do some searches. There have been a number of happy customers from what I remember, so you can see what they had to say.

hmmm, thanks for the feedback. I didn''t know they couldn''t look at the stones. The one I''m looking at is an SI and I really want someone to tell me whether it is eye-clean from 2 inches away. I guess what a normal person would do is contact them directly and ask.

Guess I''ll do that, I just wasn''t sure how reputable they are.

We bought our diamond from Martin, and it was a great experience. We live in Toronto so thankfully we were able to see the diamonds in person. Give him a call, he is really helpful on the telephone and will go out of his way to help you. Good Luck!

That's the right thing to do. I bought from them 1.5 years ago, and the internet model is constantly evolving, so they might be different now.

I operate a gem lab in florida.

I have been checking stones for consumers that have or are being sold by USACERTED.

Since Martin cannot see the stones without shipping and paying customs duties, my service has become a useful way to check the diamonds so that the consumer is assured of getting the quality they want and that the diamond is represented correctly.

Martin truly cares about the quality of the stones he sells here in the US, Occasionally, a stone doesn''t pass musterwith me.

I can say that Martin has been more than cooperative in returning the diamond and finding another one for his customer. Many sellers aren''t... if they lose a sale they can become very adamant about my findings. Martin has always been respectful and courtesous about our reports, and genuinely wants to see the customer served well.

I contacted Martin at USACerted and he hooked me up with Victor. I''m waiting for the finished product, but I''m VERY happy with the service so far. Victor has been very helpful and answers any questions I have. He''s been very patient with me and has not disapointed me so far. Martin has also been in the background checking up on things...emailing me and talking to Victor throughout the whole process which puts me at ease! I''ll let you know how everything goes, but so far I give them an A+.

I bought one of my stones from usacerteddiamonds.com. Both Martin and Tony were great to work with. I had two stones sent down to rockdoc and he gave me all the facts on them and I made my decision. Rockdoc was absolutely the best to work with as well. We went over it all and made the right decision. Arrangements for payment with Martin were simple and painless.

I haven''t been on here in a while, and back in June I went to USA CERTED to get my fiancee her diamond. It was set by Victor of Rose Jewellry at Yong/Dundas. They did an incredible job!!!
