US Airways plane goes down in Hudson River

They think a bird hit the engine. Everyone seems to be okay.

I''m watching the news. They say there are survivors, but they haven''t rescued anyone yet.

There is no one left on the plane. It is believed that everyone is safe.

I haven''t seen any footage, but it sounds like everybody is okay...that is very relieving because there seemed to be two serious obstacles: the actual crash AND the freezing cold water it crashed in.

This story is incredible, I''m just watching it now.
What an incredible pilot - we should all be so lucky if we''re ever in that situation!

I would also like to hear from any NY''ers that saw it - I can imagine it would''ve been very scary to see
