Urgent: Need Opinions on this ACA

I am in desperate need of help in finding a nice ering diamond. What are your opinions regarding this diamond from WF for around $6k. I am considering this diamond vs a Star 129 1.05 F,SI2 with a table of 6.63mm. All opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks

i didn''t look at the link, but the one thing i wnated to say is...you do know that a Star 129 will not look anything like the ACA right? they are two entirely different types of diamonds. extra facets vs the regular amount. the LOOK is very different. i personally am not a huge fan of the extra facet stones since they add so much ''chaos'' into the stone and it''s a really personal look, some people just love it and others don''t. so make sure you see it in person before committing. in fact if you can, i''d order both stones and check them out in person. this is like comparing an apple and an orange, both fruits but different looks.

You are right; they are quite different. I like the Star129 but the dilemma is whether to go bigger for the same $ (the 129''s are more money)? Would you be willing to look at the link and give your opinion on the ACA. I''d really appreciate any help you could give me.

Hi lost_boy! I am no expert but one thing that jumps out about the WF stone is that you should call them and verify if it is eye-clean as it''s an SI2. Don''t know if you''ve done that yet ...

Lost_boy I am no expert, but I think that Whiteflash diamond looks very nice. I agree with the previous poster though I would ask them to let you know whether or not it is eyeclean. SI2 diamonds can be real value for the money, but you want to make sure that you are okay with the inclusions. I purchased a diamond bracelet from Whiteflash with ACA stones and they are gorgeous. I have never seen a Star 129 diamond so I have no idea how the two compare.

the ACA looks really promising, an H SI2 is a sweet spot for some people, i second the others and say just speak to WF re eye clean but the 40x mag looks pretty good...and the numbers look great.

in terms of what is preferred, i am a traditional diamond lover with no extra facets. the extra ones just look a little chaotic like shards of glass inside the stone kinda thing. but some people just love it. total preference thing.

in any case don''t think you can go wrong choosing between those two types of stones..!!

I''m with Mara, I don''t like the busy look of too many facets...it''s more of a gentle shimmer look than a big sparkle look. That ACA looks gorgeous...seems like it could very well be eyeclean...I''d prefer that one myself.
