Upgradable... other James Meyer wearers?

For those of you wearing James Meyer in unplated white gold... does anyone know whether he uses nickel white gold or palladium white gold, or something else entirely? I''ve contacted him about e/wrings but haven''t heard back, and was hoping someone might already know...

I was noticing that his white gold seems much whiter than other unplated white golds I''m seeing (Liane''s set, for example).

I don''t know about the alloy, but holding it next to my BevK 18k plated ring you can see the slight warmth.

I went and looked at the pics you posted in the other recent JM thread in SMTR, particularly the larger version of your avatar pic. It really shows the contrast between the platinum bezel and wg base. Is that tone relatively close to what you see IRL?

No, I really don''t see a contrast at all unless I''m looking really closely at it. I''ve shrunk the picture down, and realize it is still 3X the size of the ring on my hand. Can you see much of a contrast here? As someone else mentioned, the unplated white gold isn''t yellowy by any stretch of the imagination, it is just not as cold and icy looking as plated gold. Hope this helps
