I have lurked on PS for over a year and finally have decided its time to share my dream creation that was recently completed. It's an unheated GIA certed 4.68 ct orange sapphire with two emerald cut side diamonds. The basket is rose gold while the rest is white. I am in LOVE with it. Enjoy!

Welcome to PS!

You're ring is absolutely Bee yoo ti full!! Classic and timeless. Love, love love! =)

Beautiful! Can you tell us more about how your came upon your ring? More photos? It is so lovely and well executed.

Thank you for the welcome and kind comments!

Hi Pregcurious,

The sapphire was one of John Tollivar's. I had pined over it for months before I broke down during one of his big sales and with a small amount of additional negotiation, it was mine. Asschers cuts are my favorite, but I found the emerald cut diamonds at a bargain price on eBay so I custom designed my mounting around them with my local jeweler. He is fabulous! When the company that cast the mount chipped one of my emeralds, I was crushed. They ended up making good on it though even though it took forever! The side diamonds are VS1 F and VS2 D. One is .41 ct and the other .48 ct, but deeper so face up they look real close. I will post more pics later when I have more time. Thank you for the kind comments. I am an avid collector and amateur design freak!

Wow!! We need more pics!

Welcome.

I'd also love more shots.

Finding a great orange sapphire like that is very difficult.

That is a knockout! It's the yummiest orangeade I ever saw. So unusual & beautifully designed!

Lovely orange! And such pretty proportions with the side stones!

Gorgeous!!!! That color is haunting somehow. I really love it.

Thanks VirginiaZee and Rosebloom. The color and stone are even more impressive in person. I describe it as orange sherbet, but it glows from within. Haunting is a wonderful description :appl:

Orange sherbet looks like the perfect description. Kudos to you for finding the original sides on ebay. I love how you have white gold prongs for the diamonds and the rose gold for the sapphire. More pictures, pretty please? Maybe on your hand but farther away? :praise:

Love, love, love the color - orange sherbet is a perfect description…really, I think that's my new favorite peachy shade. More pics please!

HI:

A knockout combo! :appl: Quit teasing....MOIRE pictures!!!

cheers--Sharon

+1! That's the icing on the cake here. Those muscular prongs with the channel down the middle are a very nice touch, as well. It's like the perfect frame for a great painting.

That's a spectacular ring! I would love to see more pictures :))

omg it's delicious! and I don't even like orange!

Hi everyone, Thank you all for your kind comments. I'm attaching a couple more photos.

Oh my  that is so close to my dream ring. When you get tired of it  just drop me a msg.

Well, that's an utterly lovely ring and stones. I have seen very few untreated orange sapphires, but that's the real deal.

I read a lot on Pricescope but don't post much, but i have to log in to say that is a beauty :lickout:

Very well done indeed.

Hi Pretzel, I doubt this one will ever be for sale, but you are at the beginning of the line, if I change my mind.

I've been overwhelmed by all the kind and flattering comments. Thank you CaraMish and Bigsandwich!
