I''ve just read on this site that ultrasonic cleaners aren''t safe for stones of clarity lower than VS!
My diamond is SI2 and I took my ring to get it cleaned at the mall jeweller''s yesterday, and I know it was an ultrasonic. Should I be worried? And should I never let them clean it for me again?
I guess I will have to stick to soaking it in jewelry cleaner while I''m in the shower.
