Mine aren''t the full up-to-the-knee ones. They go above my ankle. (I''m 5" 4") I bought the shorter ones because I don''t like to wear skinny jeans and so my boot cut fit over the uggs. Oh, and for rain, I bought rain boots with awesome fleece take-out liners. They''re so yummy and cool. Good for gardening!Date: 9/22/2009 4:23:23 PM

I looove the feel of Uggs and how warm they are... but I''m 5'' 2'' and wearing Uggs make me look like a tree stumpI still haven''t given up hope, though, and keep trying out new models to see if any of them won''t make me look short and stubby. I think I''ll try the knitted ones this weekend.![]()

If I needed snow boots (sadly I don''t!) I''d get these by Pajar:
That''s what I''ve found to be true as well. . . they really don''t go on sale and the price is pretty much the same all over.Date: 9/22/2009 5:58:17 PM

It''s really hard to find much of a price difference on Uggs, no matter where you buy them, unless it''s way out of season and someone is having a sale on them. I''ve bought from Zappos a few times and the free shipping cuts down on the cost a bit (and free return shipping is nice if they don''t fit or you don''t like them for some reason!).
Other than that though, it''s hard to find much of a price difference!
Ahh.. the wisdom of kenny. Thanks for saying what I meant to, but in a far less inflammatory way!Date: 9/22/2009 11:13:48 PM

I have UGGs for house slippers.
I''d never wear them outside especially in the snow.
The beautiful suede would get all yucky with salt.
Plus they are not constructed to really support the foot or the arch.
They''re really constructed more like slippers.
Yeah, Kenny definitely put it better. Some people were put off by the "incredibly trashy" comment...Date: 9/22/2009 11:22:59 PM

My mom has those in brown and she loves them. They''re perfect for winter weather!Date: 9/23/2009 12:19:23 AM

I was Uggphobic, but sweet Harriet helped me overcome my fears and I ordered a pair of Ultimate Tall Braid Uggs last winter and I LOVE them. They have a bit more traction on the soles and the foot tops are less MoonBootylicious than regular Uggs, IMHO. Like Elmorton, I mainly wear them to get from my house to my car and car to the office, and then I put my heels on. I also wear them to yoga. I don''t ever want to go through a Canadian winter without them!

Sorry gals, but I have to say I think I''m more put off by Kenny''s rather graphic picture than MishB''s comment. (Maybe i''ve been playing too much Rainbow Six these days.. head shots, yanno?)
Uggs aren''t the most fashionable shoes ever, but they sure are toasty. I get the smallest size I can so they don''t look like astronaut boots, and try to cover them up with my boot cut jeans. I find they can almost pass for regular shoes that way wihout giving up the comfort.

I bought my first pair this year - and they are the knit Ugg Cardys. They are so cozy!!
They might not be perfect in snow - I will let you know!!
Oh...and I''m trashy I guess! ha!
