Are twinning wisps by a girdle a concern for durability?

Updating my question: Are feathers worse than twinning wisps as a type of inclusion in a diamond? What would be a more desirable inclusion?

Not sure of the answer to this one, but I would hazard a guess that it would depend on the clarity. ie. in the SI range and lower, maybe these types of inclusions would be more problematic that in the VVS - VS range?! Not sure. Maybe you could provide more info, eg. the clarity grade and an inclusion plot would be fantastic. I am sure others will chime in to help.

No. See this link for photos and an explanation if twinning wisps. http://www.goodoldgold.com/classic.php?page=gallery_of_inclusions.htm

Feathers it depends, it is prudent to have a feather by a girdle evaluated by an expert, to tell you if there is a possible durability issue or not. Also what clarity grade is the diamond? VS1 feather is less likely to be an issue than SI2 for example, but even then it may be fine, take each diamond under an expert''s advisement on an individual basis.
