My first tsav. I know it's not the best, but wow, I can definitely see why these are so popular. It's more on the yellow side than a pure green. It finds light everywhere.

I think it's very pretty, and nicely cut!

It looks great! Is it from Tan? I saw a stone with similar dimension in his website.

Beautiful! They're really addictive, aren't they?

What are your plans for this sparkly beauty?

Looks sparkly and well cut; you are now officially enrolled in the green club. :appl:

TL, Thanks, I am impressed by the cut as well, just the slightest window. I one day hope to have one as magnificent as the one in your bypass ring.

Crasru, yep it's from Tan. Gives me hope for the cheap spinel I won recently too :naughty:

Aoife, so addictive! I had my first hit and jonesing for a second lol. There's a pendant I've been designing. It was originally going to be for my red spinel, but I thought it'd be interesting to have the same pendant with different stones.

Chrono, thanks :D How long should I wait for my membership card? LOL

Be honest please and tell me if I overpaid for it? Link to Tan's listing with video. The video is nearly spot on.

Very nice Davi! :appl:

Nice, Davi!

Nice purchase davi!

Very pretty! :appl:

Very pretty green stone. You take very nice pictures as well.

Nice Tsav! Cut, clarity and color  . It's got it all!

Pete

Very nice - why do you think it's not the best? It certainly looks very good to me! A great buy!

Thank you. I only say that because it's not a pure green. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but one day I hope to find one that has less yellow in it.

The couple that I've purchased from Tan had blue in them, and they were very affordable. Look at his new listings to see the hue of color. vsbG means very slightly bluish green in his newer listing format.

The one I'm watching now is only listed as green. The ones that mention a "b" seem more of a true green to me than the ones that are only listed as "G". My listing didn't have that type of description, so I'm curious to know what it would be.

Maybe I just think there's more yellow in my stone than a pure green. The flashes are neon green. But does get a bit "minty" sometimes.

They are very different, some are very light-green, some are bottle-green. I would not mind a lighter tsavorite, either, sometimes they are more sparkly. Either way, they are beautiful.
