Trusted Tacori Dealer To Set Diamond

Hello everyone! Just the other day I made my diamond purchase and I am now looking for a Tacori setting to complete the engagement ring. I visited a local Jared store here in Raleigh, NC since I knew they were an authorized dealer. However, after reading some of the bad reviews of Jared, I am concerned about buying the ring from them and having them set the diamond. I would love to get some opinions of trusted dealers and hear some success stories about getting a loose diamond set I do realize I may be limited locally since I am set on a particular Tacori setting, but any help would be appreciated.

Two nights ago I watched as my girl''s Tacori was set. It''s really quite amazing how they man-handle the setting, yet everything done is pure craftsmanship. I think any good jeweler that works with platinum on a regular basis can do wonders, assuming it doesn''t need laser work or anything radical. I would talk to the various jewelers used by your local Tacori dealer and go with someone with much experience, that you feel you can trust. it''s the jeweler, not the place.

You can go to tocori''s website and search by zipcode for dealers in your area if your not comfortable with jareds. I was going to buy a tocori setting but i decided to go w/custom made bc I could get it for about the same price and get just what I wanted. Tacori settings are beautiful and I was actually going to have Tacori set my stone for me. i had to have my ring made in my size and to fit my stone. It costs about 200.00 extra for modifications but you can have Tacori set it for you if you don''t want Jared''s to do it. You still would have to go though a Tacori dealer though. I got this information from one of the Tacori dealers in Humble, TX. It wasn''t Jared, I am not sure which B&M it was though.

i had tacori set my stone and was very pleased with how they did it!

I''d have them send it to tacori to set. we''ve seen time and time again here designer settings get messed up when the local folks set it. I just wouldnt'' take the risk, personally.

Ditto, or else I would ship it to GOG for them to deal with Tacori on your behalf.

Ditto. I will tell you that Karat Patch in Charlotte sells Tacori and they will send your stone to Tacori to set.
