Truffled Walnuts At Whole Foods

THEY ARE THE MOST DELICIOUS THING IN THE WORLD. I love them so much. If you haven''t had them, you have to go get them! Does anyone else share my obsessive love for them?

OMG...those are my obsession. I''ll eat the whole box in like two days if I don''t watch myself!

I also love them crumbled and sprinkled on vanilla ice cream!!! Yum!

I''ve seen them. I''ve had a suspicion they were amazing. Which is why I''ve avoided them. They stare at me when I''m in the store... whispering: "buy me, buy me."

Fortunately I am flat on my back and can''t make it out to the store.

They''re pretty much whole walnuts dipped in chocolate truffle and then powdered with cocoa. They are delicious (not too sweet either, which is why I love them).

I don''t know what aisle they''re in now, but they used to be in the area with all the prepared foods.

Gypsy, DO NOT get them if you don''t want to be hopelessly addicted. I''ve eaten entire boxes in a day or two. They''re not big boxes, but still...that''s probably too many truffled walnuts!

Bia gave you the answer I know you are thrilled to hear! Yes, at least here in Minnesota, they are available all year round. MIL keeps them in the refridgerator in the summer to keep the humidity from impacting the chocolate.

I will have to look for them; I have had the truffles at Trader Joe''s and they are yummy but rich!
