Trapezoid question and Price comparison on diamonds

Is there a place on the internet to find trapezoid diamonds and prices?
I would like to search this info for myself.
I have been quoted $2,225.00 for a pair of radiant traps. Size 5.5 x 3.4 (.66ctw)
SI2 H, Is this a fair price?

Also-If I am quoted a price from a local jeweler, Not a B&M but someone who does not have overheadin a store, and works from their home, should it be about the same quote as the prices here on PS??? What should I expect?

I paid exactly double that amount for double the weight, and mine are H, VS2, with very good symmetry and very good polish. I have a radiant diamond, with trazezoids on both sides. I looked a few pairs of traps, until I found a pair with the right proportion to my stone. Don''t buy the traps on price alone- be careful that they are well proportioned to whatever they will be next to. You also need to be sure that the side stones sparkle in the same way as your center stone. I remember doing an internet search, and did find a few places which sold traps and other side stones, but I don''t recall seeing prices. You can look on the diamonds by lauren website- they may have traps priced on that website

He is custom making my ring, which is what he has done for 20years. I am also relying on him to find the stones for me. I just would like to know if he is offering me a better deal than a retail store.
I have seen the traps next to the potential center stone and it looks proportioned. I am keeping my eye open to other radiants because the one he found for me is 74.7% Depth and 77% Table with a 7.8%crown. The radiant is 8.11 x 6.43 x 4.80. I also know that numbers are not everything. It looks like a pretty stone, but I want to see more, and under 70%, and stay in budget.
