Trading Up

Hi,

I bought a ring a few years ago from diamondland in Antwerp and am looking at trading in the diamonds for an upgrade. Any recommendations for companies that deal with trading in? I have all the paper work from appraisals to certification. Worst comes to worst I will keep the stones and redo the ring but I was hoping to just get a center stone around 2cts instead of the 1.5ct center stone plus 0.5cts of side stones I have now. If I get a good enough deal I would gladly do it and will just pay the difference.

I contacted whiteflash and since I did not buy from them they can''t help me out so I was wondering if anyone could recommend someone. I live in NYC.

Nearly every jewelry will be happy to put together a deal like you describe. The tricky part is in setting your price and the relationship between the price of what you're selling and what you're buying.

Thanks. Actually the center stone is 1.62 and the sides are .81 in carat weight. I will look locally and see what can I can do.
