So I’ve been home looking at how the diamond look around the house. Does it have tint. Yes it does. I can see it. More tint than the J. Does it bother me? No. I can see tint sometimes from the top and most of the time it’s white. I don’t think anyone will walk up to me and inspect my ring. All they can tell is how much it sparkle and how much fire it has.
I have to turn to the side and look at it so closely and inspect it to see the tint. I don’t practice looking at my ring that closely in daily life. However I think K is the lowest color I can go. Well I got YZ color but that is a complete different category for me.


I think for the value of my money, to enjoy it and to get the bigger size, this is perfect for me. Perhaps if someday I win the lottery then I can go higher color! ( but then I am not sure if I like it as well, I owned an E color with great cut and didn’t like it very much.)

I compared it with my mom’s I 2.5ct diamond(Blue Nile Astor). She said she likes my diamond better because How crips the diamond look.

I just want to say I love how it’s set! WF did an awesome job setting it! Exactly how I want it! I have chubby fingers and from setting it a little higher than how it was set previously can make my finger not so sausage like. It’s just a little bit taller but still not high. Love it.

Can someone tell me if I should wear the ring alone, with the pave band or the half eternity bang? I feel with the pace band it makes it look tight? But in fact it’s not tight, it’s just how my finger is chubby and become slimmer to the finger nail. If I got bigger size the ring will fall off my finger.

the pave band have a dull silver look. It’s platinum. With the half eternity I fell like it makes the center diamond look smaller. The doubloon the biggest and best when it is wear alone, but I feel it’s too plain.

Someone help me lol.

It is really lovely and I am so happy that you are happy! It looks perfect in that setting and I agree that they did a fabulous job with setting the diamond. Is that a Whiteflash setting?

ETA I like it both ways but if you feel that the diamond band is too large, how about a thin platinum band to pair it with? If you aren't concerned about a wedding band, it looks substantial on its own.

It’s not a WF setting, I had it custom made and I didn’t want to change the setting, so WF adjust the prong for me.

It’s always that way though once you add another ring, the stone looks smaller. Maybe a 1.5 - 2mm band might be just the right size. I’d go with polished simple platinum which would match the thin polished strip in your ering.

Aww thank you! It looked huge on you tiny finger! For me it’s just proportional I think. But it cured my diamond shrinkage syndrome for now.

But honestly I am thrilled and excited.
