Toronto G2G reschule! Anyone interested?!

A while back we tired to get together but it didn't work out for the few us that could make it. I've noticed a few more members from the Toronto area and I thought perhaps after the Canadian Thanksgiving we could possibly find time to meet up and share the love of all things BLING and perhaps get coffee, lunch and annoy the sales people at Tiffanys.

So, is anyone interested in getting together in the next couple of months? Feel free to throw dates out there that work for you and we can narrow it down from there! We can meet at a mall so anyone that needs to do some Christmas shopping can kill two birds with one stone! I'd love to meet more PSers and put faces with a SN. No bling required, just the love of it!

I would be interested, and I've actually never been into a tiffany's before :o

Any weekend in October is good for me, most of November too. I move into our new house in December though so that month will be a total write off with moving, painting and Christmas! I have a lot of friends in Toronto that I need to catch up with so I'll probably just make a whole weekend out of this. How many more GTA girls do we have on PS? We could also spend the day at Canada's National Bridal show in January, depending on if others are getting married soon and would find this beneficial.
 
Glitz: Even if we do the get together I would totally love to go to that bridal show with you! So if your not still busy with your house lets at least plan on that! :naughty:

And the Tiffanys in Yorkdale wasn't anything to brag about. We'll have to find one in the Eden center or something because I dragged my SO in there with me to look at their e-rings and the sales lady was one B***! ::)

I am seven hours or so from Toronto, I get up a couple times a year.

I'm in as well. Beginning of the year would be much better for me too, these next few weeks are insane.
 
The Toronto G2G is being scheduled for some time in early Jan then! Start thowing dates out there ladies so we can reserve eachother because we all know that if we don't pencil this date in, it's going to pass us by!
I say the 2nd weekend in Jan, the 8th or 9th.

What do you ladies think? Where should we meet? Should we torment the poor Tiffany sales people or just meet at a restaurant near the mall and go from there?

Tiffany's and any good gem things or jewelry going on at the ROM then?

It looks like there may be a gem show going on in Toronto in early April, but its not at the ROM. I just checked and it doesn't appear that the ROM has any gem show exhibits coming any time soon, although they do have one on the underground railroad that'd I'd be interested in checking out with my SO!

Oh man, I think the only was this Torontonian is ever going to attend a TO GTG is to move back to Toronto! I will be there from the 25th to the 30th of December - blahhhhhh !!! Have a great time - I hope you get a good turn-out. Please come back to share some highlights with us.

I do need to do some Christmas shopping - Yorkdale is always SO packed though!

Redrose: there is no "mall" in Yorkville, just a street full of high end stores (think: Rodeo Drive).

Labelle: Try Sherway Gardens. It's not too far off from Yorkville, and half as busy!

I'm on vacation until the 9th of Jan, but if the 8/9 works for others, then don't change it on my account.

Hi Redrose, I would L.O.V.E. to meet up with a fellow diamond lover during the dates I'm 'home'; nobody I know gives a poop about diamonds. If you like I can 'bump' this thread in December to see how your schedule is shaping up and find out if anyone else can make it as well. We can meet up along Bloor Street (Tiffany)... :appl:
 
I'm just giving this thread a bump because it's halfway though Nov already ladies! I think we could do 2 G2G if people have time because some ladies are going to be in town while others are away for the holidays! We can have a holiday shopping G2G (and bug whatever stores we want to with bling) and then have a bling G2G to show off any new additions to the collection perhaps after Valentines day (so those who are moving have time to get settled in). What do you ladies think?

Hey Ladies....I would love to get together and meet some of you. I live in Hamilton so I'm just about 45 minutes from TO. Let me know what dates work and where and I'll see if I can change my work schedule to meet.
 
I move on 17th January. Probably need a week or so to unpack, but after that I'm game.
 
So lets plan for the end of the month or the beginning of early next month. Do we want to meet up on a Sat or a Sunday? What works best for most people?

Alright ladies! Does a G2G on Feb. 19th or 20th work for any of you? I know it works for at least 2 of us, and probably at least 2 more. I hope so!
