So I am very torn between a few AMAZING settings from Adiamor, These will probably house a 1-1.2 carat princess as centre stone. The first is a matching channel set baguette wedding and engagement setting, the second is a flat edged design and the last is a cathedral setting. I love them all because they are classic, yet with a mondern twist or feel!

The first two are the same, but I just wanted to highlight what it would look like with the princess as centre stone!

Thanks and I would love to know everyones thoughts, feelings and ideas about these settings or even better if anyone has them with a princess centre stone! and ofcourse picture evidence!!!!!

Cant wait! :appl:

I like the plain shank with your princess and the diamond wedding band with it - so a combination of both!

I agree with motownmamma. I think the plain shank with the diamond band would be lovely!

Me three! Plain ER shank with baguette wedder OR plain shank on both.

It is worth visualising the set as a set though, "in the flesh". I have an almost-flat half-round cathedral setting, 3.2mm, no taper - love the modern look! - and initially wanted a baguette wedder. When trying my ER on with wedders I was surprised to find that I actually preferred the plain, and so I have a 2.5mm plain wedder that matches the shank of my ER. (I also have tiny split eternity wedders, but that is a different look and another story!).

ETA: Other thing is that I initially ordered my plain plat wedder in the same width as my ER - I ended up having it shaved down because it looked too heavy. For reference my ER is a 7.3 x 5.2mm emerald cut.

LOVE the baguette set - I vote for the diamond e-ring with matching band. I think it's a tremendously elegant look ....

I'm a BLING kind of gal so I like the blingiest set #1

I really love the plain shank set with the princess! So classy and modern looking!! :appl:

I think they are both lovely but I too like number 1 the best. Have you tried the rings on to see visually what they look like on your hand?

I like the second solitaire and the baguette band! Best of both worlds!

Actually, I like the plain band too and would suggest getting it as well if you opt for the baguette band. There are times and days when a plain band is really nice to have! And it makes the diamond stant out more.

I prefer set # 1

I'm with the majority. I like the second plain solitaire with the baguette band

I like #1. the plain one is too generic.

I like the baguette band, it's very pretty and classy.

That being said, the plain band solitare setting will give you more versatility. If you ever decide you want to add additional bands to stack (maybe anniversary or push presents?) then the solitare would probably allow you more options. And, a solitare definitely makes the center stone stand out nicely. The solitare would also look lovely with an eternity band on each side "sandwiching" the ring. So many options, it really makes it fun! :)

Set #1 for me...all nice though.

Thanks so much to everyone! Mixing a Baguette band with maybe a solitaire would be a great way to have the best of both worlds definately Dreamer_D and Grlsbestfrnd !!!

I would love to have the channel set baguette as my ER and a plain wedder maybe.... Although Canyongirl makes a valid (and persuasive) point, I wear very little jewellery as it is (mainly sentimental things), so It is more likely that I will stick to having my ER and wedder on that finger and nothing else.....

Fantastic help! So hard still though but definately a little more enlightened....
haha :errrr:

Another vote for plain Ering and diamond Wb (actually, why not pick up a plain Wb too, for those times you want less bling  ) - I just love this look!
