I don't own lever backs - doesn't the top "hook" go thru first, then it locks into place with the latch? Are your ears swollen? Mine get that way after being on the phone or if I've just changed earrings... or if there is a 'tropical hormonal moment' ... but where are you having the trouble - what point of putting them on is the challenge?
A spontaneous stroke of genius... Its like my own personal "christmas miracle" Happy that the idea was helpful!!! Good luck! (you lucky PS winner, you!!!)
I have small holes and find that with leverbacks I have to pull my earlobe down with one hand to make the hole more pronounced, and then I have to follow the curve of the leverback as they go in - that is, at first, the leverbacks are angled up, and as they go in, I turn the leverback angling it more down so that my poor ear isn't mangled by the curved leverback losing the track of the hole and poking into (and hurting, YOW! ) a random section of the inside of my earlobe. I hope that makes sense.
I pull down my ear lobe and put the back of the earring perpendicular to the ear piercing hole, like threading a needle. Once the point of the earring back is in the ear piercing I swivel the earring around until it's fully in place.
I do better not looking in a mirror. I pull down my earlobe and have the leverback all the open and seem to easily find the opening with no problem. Good luck!
