I saw these in person at the Tiffany''s in Indianapolis last weekend. I have to say they''re pretty neat. At first, I was leary, but once I saw them in person and tried them on, I was hooked. Luscious!

Anyway, has anyone else seen them? What do y''all think? I know they''re overpriced, but other than that, do you like them?

I''m really liking the rubellite and the aquamarine together.

um, why does it looked chipped? there are little bubbles iin it?

I like simple gold colored stone rings like that too.
Those are exspensive because of the brand of course. You could have similar made for way less money.

Maybe they were going for a rough look with the aquamarine?

I have seen them twice at Tiffany''s...this is my take on them:

Sure, they are cool looking. BUT would I wear them everyday? no....

If one had tens of thousands of dollars to spend, them I might buy them to wear with a certain outfit.

I love the setting, but I am not impressed with the stone. I think you could create something like this for less $ and the stone would be prettier.

You know, after seeing the stones on the website and in the catalogues, I was a bit perturbed by the clarity of the stones. But, the ones I saw in the store were clean. Maybe they look that way in the pictures because they are so magnified?

I think I''m with InnerKitten, and I''m drawn to the simplicity of it.

Interesting. Not my cuppa tea, esp. at that pricetag. Some seaglass could get you the same effect for much less!!!

They''re neat, but the gold is a little agressive and the setting is a tad uninspired. I prefer the Elsa Peretti stackers myself. The stones are tiny, but the style is timeless and fun.

Cost aside, I love these! Very rustic and handmade-looking; a nice change from the traditional perfection one sees in most jewelry on people. Reminds me of the items in the Sundance jewelry catalogs--I have fallen in love many a time with an unpolished, unfaceted, "natural"-looking gem on a hammered and slightly bent band. Those carry a high cost as well, though, and I haven''t given in to my desires.

That''s exactly what I was thinking! I LOVE

the things in the Sundance catalogue, too.

Pricetag aside, I like simplicity and the "rusticness" about them. Oh well. To each his own, right?

I''m always noticing other peoples jewelry. Anyway I met a woman not long ago who had stackable rings set with her three childrens birthstones. I thought that was kind of a neat idea.

I don''t get it. For the price, the stone looks awful. I just don''t get it.
