Hi all... Long time lurker and I'm getting close... How could I not seek some opinions from all you wonderful PS'ers!

So without a doubt my soon to be and I fell in love with this setting from Sholdt and this was of course after knowing her love affair for square fancies other than PC's... That affair led us to the Asscher/square emerald shape which we've both come to very much appreciate. I've certainly been doing my homework her on PS in respect to the Asscher and have been working with Julian at Pearlman's... After nearly loosing it, we think we may have found a nice little stone... He should be getting it today and that will begin the true test of seeing it and getting some photos. In the meantime attached is a photo of the setting and here are the diamond specs. Cheers and Merry Christmas...

I think if you and your fiance love the setting that is all that matters!!!

I think you typoed the size.
If it is 6.91x6.83x4.6 the numbers look good.
See if you can get a top view of the diamond.
So far it looks good.
I think you both will love it :}

I love Sholdt settings, but I prefer the non-diamond ones, myself. But if you and your fiance love that setting, go for it! To each his/her own!

I''m no asscher expert, though, so I''ll leave that up to strm!

all that matters is that you and more importantly, your fiancee love it. Asschers are magical!! congratulations!

It''s gorgeous and you love it so enjoy it.

Yep...that was in fact a typo and 6.91 is correct (edited orig). So they got the stone in this morning and the staff all say it looks great! They actually think it''s larger than they really expected to see for this 1.9ct. Great fire on the edges, good windmill patterns, and very deep... Just going to attach a couple photos they sent quickly (not real good and pardon the finger print on one of them. Thanks all... Nearly there! Thoughts on the pictures?
