I currently have a 0.78 G VS2 round solitaire. The diamond is beautiful, white with lots of fire.

These are the stones I am considering:

I realize that a 1.0 carat stone is not a huge difference in size. I am very sensitive to color, and prefer a whiter stone. My current stone appears white enough to me. The other alternative is to buy a second Rolex...

Any opinions on these stones?

If you know that you're sensitive to colour, the F would be my guess - you may well see something in some lights in the Is, esp from the side.

They're all beautifully cut, so there's really no distinction to be made in that department

Hi Lisa

In that case I would stick to the F as Yssie suggests, I wouldn''t go lower for colour as you are a G owner and would prefer a whiter diamond.

Thanks for the comments. I do think my G is white enough. I''m afraid (not being able to see the diamonds in person)the other G stones won''t be as white. Also, any thoughts on S1 vs VS2?

Ask WF if it is eye-clean. If both are eye-clean, they are eye-clean, no visual difference between a VS2 or SI1.

I will just fix the links,

What I meant was I would be wary of I colour with a couple of your first selections as you said you wanted a whiter diamond as your G is whiter, I would be concerned an I colour might not be suitable for you.

Concerning SI and VS this is down to whether an SI diamond is eyeclean and you are ok with SI clarity grades, if eyeclean you will notice no visual difference with the naked eye between an SI and VS clarity.

Both ACA look super so it depends if the SI is in fact eyeclean and your colour preference. Ask WF whether the SI diamond is eyeclean and make your expectations clear so they can advise accordingly. If you don't want to see any visible inclusions from any angle or distance make sure you let them know that so you are both on the same page.

Will I notice much size difference between my current stone 0.78 and a 1.0 carat stone? Other than having the 1 carat stone I wanted, I''m wondering if it is worth upgrading...

You will see some size difference between 0.78 and 1.0 carat. How much it will make a difference, I don''t know. But the great thing about Whiteflash is that you can keep upgrading until you get to the size you want!

Yes, I think you will notice a difference in the size. And I''d stick with G or possibly H. Just wait until they get more stones in if they don''t have what you want now.

Yes you will notice a difference and also as the other ladies say if they don''t have what you want now, give them the heads up on what you are looking for and they might know of something in the pipeline.
