I was interested in purchasing a RB stone and I thought everything seemed okay, cut wise. However I read a thread earlier today about the HCA being rather high even though the stone was graded as excellent. So I plugged the numbers in for my possible new stone and it came back as a 6
Needless to say I was a little bummed! Here''s some information from the GIA Mike sent me.
11.67 x 11.71 x 7.35
Table: 57%
Depth: 62.9%
Crown: 34.0
Pavilion: 41.8
Culet: None
Colour: F
Clarity: VVS1
Cut: Excellent
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Fluorescence: None
Is this stone good or should I keep looking? I cannot seem to find something, in the size I''m looking for, that rates well on the HCA.
Any advice, help, opinions are welcomed.
