Thoughts on this Emerald Cut

Hi All,

I am in the shopping process for my e-ring and looking to purchase online which is a little tricky as I cannot physically see the stone.

I found the stone with specs below which seem to tick all the boxes for me. Is there anyone who can provide me with an expert opinion on whether this is a good quality stone? I'm looking at what will give me the most fire and sparkle!

I have been quoted US$11k which is just slightly over my budget...

The stats look good. You should be able to negotiate the price. I bet there is room.

Impossible to tell whether it is well cut or a dud by the numbers alone. I refuse to buy fancies without at least a picture or video. I will only purchase an EC online from a vendor who can provide pictures and a video.

You can't judge fancies by the numbers. At all. Can you get pics? Videos? An ASET image at the very least? Please don't buy a stone sight unseen.

Thanks guys! I have emailed them asking for pictures first before I decide on making the purchase. Hopefully they can get it to me!

I suggest you start over and look at emeralds that already do have pictures. Starting with a report and then getting picturesi is a strategy that only works for rounds.
