Thoughts on this emerald cut?

Hey everyone, I need some expert help! Thinking about getting an upgrade so... Does this look like a good emerald cut stone?

The depth and table look good. Are you one that prefers more elongated emeralds? Huh, james allen calls it a VVS1 but the cert says internally flawless. Think maybe they know about some damage to it?

Hmmmm I'm not sure! Just found this one and it looks good too! I am not sure whether the elongated stone will look better on my fingers or the more square one will. I currently have an asscher.

I think the smaller table of the first stone would be more visually appealing but I'm no step cut expert like Karl. If you love your asscher's optics, look for similar % as they are pretty much the same porportions for asscher or emerald.

the second one looks like it may potentially have p3 issues. (the center is very dark)

The first one so far looks ok.
if interested get more pictures and the crown height.

may I ask why not another asscher? I'm just asking for my own personal reason as I am interested in an asscher, and just wondered your thoughts on it however I've never had step cuts diamonds (only in colored stones)? but the EC has similar effects though.
