Anybody have any thoughts on this diamond from whiteflash
http://www.whiteflash.com/round/Round-cut-diamond-1875173.htm

Also this is the setting I was looking out, but I am pretty confident I can find it cheaper somewhere else
http://www.whiteflash.com/golden-wardrobe/Gold_Details.aspx?ItemCode=354&size=4.50

I am def nervous about buying on online, so I am going to give one more look around at some jewellery stores, but this might be the one.

Also Is 1.16 a normal size stone for an engagement ring, does it seem small?

That isn''t an inventory diamond, so WF would have to call it in for evaluation, not enough info to judge it unfortunately. This is what is called a virtual stone which may be listed with multiple vendors, but is owned by a main supplier.

oh ok, that would explain why there wasnt a picture or detailed info. Thank You

I just go the crown and pavillion angles for this stone
the depth is 61.6
table is 58
crown is 34
pavillion is 41.2

its came up as very good on the HCA and 3.1, it was priced around 5,000 does that seem about right, and with that rating does it mean it is a well cut stone, or should I be looking for better?

thanks again

Thanks, I might have to do that, good idea

The HCA can penalize a diamond for a steeper pavilion angle, if you could get an Idealscope image that would tell us more if you wanted to investigate this diamond further, but I think WF might have to call it in to do this.

The HCA number should be a 2 or less to be safe.

You might want to drop down a little in size and color but go for an ACA stone. All the ACAs are beautifully cut. Your halo setting enhances the size of the center stone anyway.

I''d probably do the same thing. I wouldn''t be worried about buying online though. NOTHING too worry about with whiteflash:)
