Thoughts on these radiants?

Hello,

I am currently in the market for a 2.5 to 3.0 ct radiant lab grown diamond. I would prefer D, VVS1, as this diamond is for a special occasion and the cost difference does not seem prohibitive. I'd also prefer to stay under ~$3000 USD for the diamond.

I am new to diamonds, so have done some preliminary research (including reading the beginning chapters of Garry Holloway's book), but I am still unconfident when assessing individual diamonds.

I have found the following three diamonds that meet my criteria and look nice (to my untrained eye). I am hoping to get your input to see whether I am on the right track.

Any thoughts/comments are greatly appreciated!

Wow, you've picked some nice ones, and radiants aren't the easiest to pick! You must have done your homework!

My favorite two are the first and second. The third one isn't quite as nice due to the darkness showing up at the edge
of the stone through the center.

The first one would be my favorite. It looks so clear and crisp! May be partly due to the nice video. The second one
is nothing to sneeze at either, though. Can you ask for aset images of them (the first two)? Post if you can get them.

Nice job, @LB1234

Edit...they do not look like they have any blue nuance to me, but wait for others to chime in. I'm not as good at detecting it.

Thank you very much! I will ask for ASET images and report back.

I will also wait for others to chime in re: blue nuance.

Hello again,

I ended up purchasing the first diamond (https://loupe360.com/diamond/LG729573586), and received it a little while ago. I like the look of the stone in person.

Unfortunately, I was unable to get ASET images before purchasing, and I do not currently have an ASET scope to take my own.

I thought I would post a few images and photos of the stone in different lighting (artificial light, clouded natural light, direct sunlight) to see if anybody notices any red flags:
Any thoughts from @tyty333 or others would be much appreciated!

I see no areas of concern...I think it looks very nice!

Budget red flag — 2.5–3.0 ct D VVS1 lab-grown for ~$3k is probably unrealistic; expect higher.
Must-check specs: exact measurements, depth % / table %, length:width (radiant), and certificate lab.
Cut & face-up matter most — ask seller for a loupe/video/ASET or ideal-scope; watch for symmetry and light return.
Bow-tie isn’t a big issue on radiant but check live video/photos for dark zones.
Fluorescence: strong blue can wash a D face-up; prefer none/weak.
Return policy & warranty: mandatory.

Thanks for the input, @lepharaon33 ! I was actually able to source the first stone for under $2000 USD from an online shop. A link to pictures and videos of the stone is here:
The IGI certificate can be found here: https://dnyvsyhu34v1w.cloudfront.net/pdf/LG729573586.pdf

The stone looks good in person, to my (inexperienced) eyes.
